Education is a primary key to overcoming poverty and building lasting opportunities for growth and development. DBCO will initially focus on the following:
1) Promote self-sufficiency of educational services in these communities.
2) Partner with school boards & teachers, and the ministry of education to highlight the needs and develop sustainable solutions.
-Organize, collect and distribute the necessary teaching materials, books, visual aids, computers, etc.
3) Enhance education through various scholarships and/or research sponsorship,
4) Training and upgrade training of the teachers and accessing multimedia teaching aids and books.
5) Assisting in building of rural schools in villages.
6) Assist in building youth hostels for students coming from a far distance.
